Townline Rocks at Science Olympiad

Townline Elementary School students beat out 12 schools to place in 7 out of 10 categories in its first Science Olympiad competition held in May.

Out of 10 events, Townline placed

  • 1stin Rock Hounds with student competitors Brian Li (5) and Jacob Qian (5);
  • 1stplace in Mystery Powders with Jacob Qian (5), Aashi Shah (4) and Snigdha Chatterjee (5);
  • 2ndplace in Trajeggtory with Andrew Palmer (4), Haley Kalinowski (4) and Jacob Wang (5);
  • 2nd place in A is for Anatomy with Eric Zhong (4), Noah Song (5) and Anika Deshpande (5);
  • 3rd place in Aerodynamics with Victoria Burda (4), Jacob Wang (5) and Noah Song (5);
  • 3rd place in Backyard Biology with Hailey Diaz (4), Anika Deshpande (5) and Snigdha Chatterjee (5);
  • and 5th place in Write It/Do It with Maya Raval (4) and Jacob Wang (5).
