Project Change Fundraiser Extended to June 4th! All Spare Change Accepted
The TL Project Change fundraiser has been extended. Students are encouraged to drop their spare change into the collection jars in their classroom. We are raising money to buy filters so the people in Guinea, West Africa have access to clean water. In order to help them we are going to raise money from May 11th-June 4th. Each filter provides clean water to 10 people for 10 years, at a cost of $30 per person.
In addition to raising money to help the people in Africa, we are also trying to ‘save’ Dr. Kieffer!! Every dollar we raise represents a piece of tape that we’ll use to ‘save’ Dr. Kieffer from falling into the pool of dirty water. On June 5th, during field day, Dr. Kieffer will be displayed somewhere in the building and she will be taped to the wall and hopefully not falling into the dirty pool of water!! Help save Dr. Kieffer!
