School Staff Make Home Visits

Entering kindergarten is a big step in life. Victoria Kieffer, Ph.D, the principal of Townline Elementary, and several teachers visited the homes of students entering kindergarten. Each student received a new book. The students and their parents were thrilled. .

Formal Choral Student Visits School

Ellen Stenstrom gave a presentation to Ms. Grubb’s chorus students. Ellen was in the first Townline chorus in 2006 and is now a member of the Miami University Collegiate Choral vocal ensemble.  She played videos of some of her performances and encouraged the students to keep music in their lives.

Girls on the Run Donate Blankets for a Good Cause

Science Olympiad Test Run

In preparation for the official Science Olympiad on Saturday, 74 students in Grades 4 and 5 at Townline showed off their science prowess at a school Olympiad test run event. Students are judged on their knowledge of rocks, aerodynamics, weather matters, and naming scientific powders.
